Lizard In A Bottle

Lizard In A Bottle (named after a line in The Cult’s Li’l Devil song) is a group of 4 musos whose idea of fun is getting out and playing hard, loud rock classics to people who enjoy a good night out singing along to much loved and up-beat covers of songs everybody loves.

With influences including Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Green Day and The Cult along with some quieter moments from the likes of Bon Jovi, the spectrum of songs covers a wide range of styles, but each song is specifically chosen for its catchiness, and the fact that people like to sing along to the choruses!

Lizard in a Bottle are:

Sue Paradine (vocals, tambourine and occasional guitar) - the multi-tasking vocal point of the band! 

​

Rich Leighton (bass) – bass players are known for their dependability and solid rhythm skills, and they don’t come much more dependable than Rich! His ability to lock in with the drummer and create a rock solid groove which you can feel in your chest makes him indispensable as part of the back-bone of the Lizards’ sound. 

 

Andrew Fullerton (drums) – the other half of the Lizards’ back-bone, always likes to play the toons 'not too fast, but not too slow...and LOUD' ...

 

Paul Alexander (guitar) – playing guitar is something which Paul has always wanted to do, and a mid-life-crisis inspired decision to advertise online for ‘like-minded individuals’ to get together and ‘make some noise’ has turned into what is now Lizard In A Bottle.  What he lacks in height he makes up for in volume….

 

Location-wise, The Lizards hail from Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Colchester and Norwich and are willing to travel to these areas for gigs. Any venue, big or small, would be considered as long as we can turn the volume up!
